Coach presents D'Luxe China with 2011 Overall Best Quality Performance AwardCoach, Inc. a leading marketer of modern classic American luxury handbags and accessories, has presented D'Luxe China with the 2011 Overall Best Quality Performance Award. The award was given at this year's Coach Quality Summit, an annual meeting between Coach and quality representatives from various Coach factories. The award recognizes D'Luxe China as Coach's best factory in the area of quality. The criteria for this award include, among others: consistently low variance between finished goods inspection defect rate and finished goods audit defect rate; consistently low defect rate at finished goods audit; and consistent application of best practices such as 7S, D'Luxe's own housekeeping system. Senior Coach quality management (QM) team members name the awardees based on each factory's "Quality Scorecard" results throughout the year. The Coach Quality Summit also focuses on other agenda such as reviewing the major problems which Coach found from the factories in the past year; reviewing key performance indicators (KPI) for the next year; and giving updates on Coach's business growth and quality direction in the next few years.
