Frank Sauceda Appointed EVP and President of Luen Thai Philippines

A key executive appointment has been announced by Luen Thai CEO Henry Tan recently in order to provide new leadership in the company's Philippine operations as well as help boost Luen Thai's overall growth as the company enters into a new phase of global competitiveness.

Frank Sauceda has been appointed executive vice president for corporate services and development (CSD) for Luen Thai International Group and president of Luen Thai Philippines effective January 15, 2008.

In this new capacity, Mr. Sauceda will continue to oversee the functions CSD and provide strategic direction to HR & administrative services,. Corporate social responsibility (CSR) and corporate communications (CCD) under CSD remain under his direct administration.

Concurrent to this role, Mr. Sauceda is now in charge of Luen Thai Philippines as president and overall country head. Working alongside Luen Thai Philippines' management team, he is responsible for the overall business management and profitability of both L&T International Group Philippines in Clark, and Golden Dragon Apparel Inc. in San Fernando, Pampanga. 

Mr. Sauceda reports directly to Raymond Tan, president and chief manufacturing officer of Luen Thai International Group (LTIG) and recently appointed chief executive officer for Luen Thai Philippines.

A key driver and supporter to a number of global initiatives that have helped build the organizational capability of Luen Thai over the years, Mr. Sauceda established the support divisions of corporate communications, corporate human resources and corporate social responsibility.

He was also instrumental in the set-up of corporate services and build-up of the model Supply Chain City in Dongguan, China which has been recognized by various industry organizations, government, media, human resources and academic institutions.
