adidas Gives 4C Rating for Yuen Thai Industrial Co. LimitedYuen Thai Industrial Company Limited (YTI) has received a 4C rating from the December 2009 adidas audit, making it the first apparel factory in China to gain such status. A 4C ratingĀ means there is a high degree of compliance found in the factory and that compliance management systems, and most of the components of the system are effective. YTI has steadily increased its rating for the past year - garnering 2C in 2007, 3C in March 2009 and a 4C this December. "I am very proud to share this accomplishment as YTI located in Luen Thai Dongguan Supply Chain City is now rated a 4C facility," said YTI senior vice president Vicky Dilcock. She added the audit results showed that YTI has many innovative systems and equipment; management involvement and commitment to compliance is evident; and comparison systems (GASA, ALF and SEA) that show duplication of work is useful and helpful. Jackson Hsiu, YTI chairman, on the other hand, said "YTI proved once again to be a most outstanding and unique team as it earned another 4C rating in addition to Cebu (Yuen Thai Philippines) from adidas' wide range of strict requirements and audit. He added, "This is definitely an extraordinary achievement that demonstrates how we strive and insist on management and business ambition."
