I would like to greet everyone a very happy new year! On behalf of the whole Luen Thai organization, I am wishing you all the best as we begin another journey of challenges, victories, lessons and changes in the year ahead.
I am happy to share with you three exciting events that have recently transpired within Luen Thai.
First is the launching of the new Luen Thai website, www.luenthai.com [0].
As an organization, we have always believed in the importance of communication The web is a powerful medium of communication, so we have ensured that ours is up-to-date and informative.
Our new website also boasts of new features. It has a streaming media section where everyone can watch our current company profile video entitled “Made in Luen Thai.” It also features an improved “Careers” section to help recruit the best individuals to join our Luen Thai family.
The second news I’m happy to share with you is the re-launch of Focus Online, our official company magazine. The improved e-magazine may be accessed at www2.luenthai.com/focus [0], and is our communication channel for the latest news and information on our organization.
Last but not the least, I am proud to share with you our latest recognition in the area of human resources, the HKIHRM/SCMP People Management Award 2006. Besides winning the Large Enterprise Category, we were also named the Overall Winner, besting several formidable companies for the award.
These awards recognized our efforts in strongly linking our corporate vision to our business goals through HR initiatives.
None of this could have happened without our people’s commitment and hard work.
