Luen Thai Visitors: Mexican Gov't Officials, Hofstra University & Uniqlo Consultant

Three government officials from Mexico paid a visit to Luen Thai's Dongguan Supply Chain City on July 2.

Jorge Guajardo, Mexican Ambassador to China, Leopoldo Marin, Mexico Consul of Guangzhou and Jose Benjamin Uribe, Mexico Commercial Consul of Guangzhou were given a one hour tour of the facility after a short presentation on the company's profile.

A 20 minute Q&A was also included in the visit agenda. Visit host Frank Sauceda, Luen Thai senior vice president for corporate human resources, answered questions the government officials had in relation to the company's business operation and direction.

Hofstra University Visit

Six professors and 16 eMBA students from Hofstra University, the largest private university on Long Island, New York, toured Luen Thai's Supply Chain City in Dongguan, China on July 11. The group was given an orientation of the company and its operation and taken to various facilities including the company's design and development center, production buildings, fabric and accessories laboratory, among others.

The visitors include professors Luke Ng, Benny Barak, Barry Berman, Anil Mathur, Charles McMellon, and Martha Weisel with students Robert Anthony Bardunias, Jared Jayson Berrios, Leroy David Brown, John J. Burke, Fotini Kourouklis, Lorraine MD Marin, Poonam Mathur, Jed Michael Pollack, Griffin Adair Roche-Tilden, Kathleen Suzanne Roche, Sean Adam Roemig, Michael Roderick Thompson, James Tilden, Audra Treleaven, Laurentino Ibarra Reves and Jennifer Wagner.
