An overall plan in order to push Luen Thai's success and growth in 2008 in the Philippines was unveiled in a management meeting last March 28 at the company's facility in Clark, Pampanga.
"Strategy plus organizational capability equals success," said Frank Sauceda, Luen Thai Philippines (LTPI) president and Luen Thai International Group executive vice president for corporate services and development. He noted that this is Luen Thai Philippines' formula for success in overcoming industry challenges and winning in 2008.
The overall plan aims to develop an integrated, lean and aligned organization that provides for long term partnership and growth with customers.
He stressed four key elements: lean initiatives, integration of merchandising and technical teams with production, cost reduction and organizational capability.
Joining him in the implementation of the plan are group head Marilet Z. Peñaflor and various teams including LTPI's "lean team," merchandising-technical team, finance and administration teams, information technology and quality assurance, human resources, and corporate social responsibility.
