Four booters from Tuloy Foundation (Tuloy) were selected in the Philippine national team in the ASEAN Football Federation (AFF) U15 Girls’ Championship 2019 in Thailand. Jenny Perez, Lanie Ortillo, JonalynLucban, and Marian Morgan—the first group of Tuloy players to compete for the country—are part of Tuloy’s football development program.

“This is the first ever international game that our Tuloy players represented the country. We are all proud of them,” says Tuloy Head Coach Taketomo Suzuki. On May 19, the team is set to enter the semifinals with Vietnam, Laos, and Thailand.

The Tuloy Girls were critical in getting the wins in the early stage. Jenny Perez scored against Myanmar and is the first Tuloy player to score for the country. Marian Morgan managed to keep Myanmar‘s attack quiet throughout the game. The team finished at 5-0 against Myanmar and 12-0 against Timor Leste. Lanie Ortillo and JonalynLucban both scored two goals against Timor Leste.

True to its commitment in honing eXtraOrdinary KIDS, Tuloy Football also participated in last year’s Philippine Football Federation (PFF) Women’s League where the Tuloy Girls (Seniors) finished at 4th place. Isabella Bandoja earned the “Golden Boot” award scoring 24 goals in the tournament.

In June, selected players from the boys team will participate in the national team tryouts.

Congratulations, Tuloy Football Club and best of luck!
